Rin Uchida  (Cello, 17)

Rin has appeared in the Academy Awarded movie "Departure", a promotional video produced by Uri Nakayama, as well as several concerts. He looks forward to interacting with children who come from different backgrounds and understanding one another through music at the concert. He would also like to deepen his relationship with them through exchanging opinions.

Katsuki Kawano  (MC, 17歳)

Katsuki took part in every ChildAid Asia concert and was the emcee in 2014 and 2015 as a member of the chorus. After he was discharged from the home, this time, he made an entry to the audition to participate in the concert. "I wish to create a world where the hearts of all children are connected by music."

Tomohide Sato  (Piano, 16)

While living in France and Germany, Tomohide started playing the piano at age 4. He has performed solo and also in ensembles. Last summer, he attended the master class and the concert at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. He looks forward to making new friends through music at the concert.

Kazutomo Harada  (Cello, 14)

Kazutomo started to learn the cello at age 6 and is studying at the junior high school of Toho College of Music. His dream is to be a cellist and conductor. He has been performing at nursery schools and elderly nursing homes, and looks forward to interacting with many artists of his age at the concert.

Hitomi Fujita  (Vocal, 13)

Even though Hitomi started to learn folk songs at age 5, she is now interested in musicals, pop music and vocal music. She also likes to sing to her own piano arrangements. She hopes to express the beauty of Japan and overseas culture through her music. She is a National Folk Song Competition gold medalist.

Shihiro Muramatsu  (Flute, 9)

Shihiro started learning the flute at age 5. She received the 3rd prize (top among wind instrument performers in Infant B section) at the 17th Osaka International Music Competition and a Honourable Mention at the 5th Concorso Musica Arte. She cannot wait to spend time with friends who she will meet at the concert.

Sonoko Yamamura  (Clarinet, 18)

Sonoko started learning the clarinet at age 9 and has been receiving many prizes such as the 2nd prize in the high school section at the 24th Japan Classic Music Competition. She is delighted to have a chance to create music with artists from many countries at this concert. She is a music scholarship student of the Yamaha Music Foundation in 2016.

Malaysia

Lim Ho Yi  (Violin 13)

Ho Yi known as the "Kangfu-Baby" started the violin and piano at the age 7. Her dream is to be a violinist to help needy children. Belonging to the Amazing Orchestra, which has raised funds to build a school in Cambodia, she participated in ChildAid Asia in Malaysia and Singapore.

Chung Shook Jern  (Guzheng 17)

Shook Jern picked up the piano at the age 6. Having a huge devotion for classical piano playing, she was captivated by the beauty of Guzheng through the playing of her sister. In 2014, she received a Gold Medal Award in the Malaysia Guzheng Art Festival. Now she is also practicing the Chinese Bamboo Flute.

Indonesia

Gregorius Rafel Mikael Tamadji (PIano, 16)

Rafel has won the 1st prize at Yamaha Piano Competition, selected as a finalist of Steinway Youth Piano Competition and recognized in many other occasions. He has also composed and performed his own music pieces such as "Circus". Recently, he volunteers himself to perform at church and Sunday School.

The Philippines

Gabrielle Victoria Dolor Panlilio (Vocal 19)

Gabri began her formal training at the age 12, and her talent was soon recognized. She has been in Pinocchio-Ensemble 2014, Philippine Opera Company (Young Artist Series), Mad About Mozart and many others. Currently she studies at St. Scholastica's College ? Conservatory of Music.

Yumi Chung (Vocal 9)

Yumi is one of the busiest 9-year old Filipina in Hong Kong, who appears in TV drama series in Hong Kong and the Philippines, joins and wins singing competitions, appears in commercials and models. Despite all the attention she gets, she maintains her humility and simplicity, and join many charity activities.

Singapore

Nur Amirah Rohaizad (MC、Vocal 13)

At the age of 9, Amirah entered her first school talent show and from then on, decided that singing is what she wants to do in the future. She loves using her voice to impress and making people happy. With the help from the Business Times Budding Artists Fund, she is able to continue performing and singing for her audience.
